“On the road to Shangri la” is an adventure music documentary in development about two comedians who must travel to Asia to write their new show in the places they have set it.
Starting in the Future city of Hong Kong and ending up in he peaks of the Himalayas in Nepal, these two unlikely explorers will learn about the local history and music styles to incorporate in their show whilst trying not to get killed by the Animals, places, and people on their perilous journey.
On the way, Mager and Smythe will film themselves and their every clumsy move in a “fly on the wall” observational style documentary that will have the audience feeling like they are with them on their hapless quest to find the infamous city of Shangri La.
